BUTOH BASICS CLASS
oct.13
nov.17 / 2004 / wednesdays 8-10 pm
$10/class or $50/6 classes

Please contact Nicole LeGette . 773/489-3734 . nlegette22@hotmail.com

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

This class is being offered to provide weekly training towards developing the foundations of Butoh. More than just physical technique, butoh begins with erasing the social body and ego, listening deeply to awaken internal impulses, and to begin to follow these everstreaming energies. The physical body seeks to become pliable and more responsive, to embody the subtle shifts in energy sparked internally. Whether you dance or not, these skills enhance awareness and sensitivity, qualities that benefit our daily lived experience.
